Staff Accountant

```Duties``` - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis - Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement - Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies - Manage cash flow, accounts receivables, payables and project P&L's - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs - Coordinate and monitor invoices, vendor payments, insurance records and aging reports ```Requirements``` - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and financial concepts - Proficient in financial report writing and analysis - Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or similar systems - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
