*Position Summary: *The Operations Coordinator is a member of the Transformative Services Department.
The position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational functions to ensure the department is running efficiently and meets the expectations and needs of staff and clients.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
· Coordinating department administrative duties, such as monitoring inventory and placing supply orders, preparing, and maintaining operations documentation, and scheduling and hosting visitors.
· Coordinating department meetings, workshops, staff training events, and employee engagement activities.
· Serving as the lead organizer for events and in-person program activities, to include managing catering, scheduling and sending reminders, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as case managers, community partners and clients, overseeing event setup and break down, and taking responsibility for equipment storage and building lock-up.
· Maintaining personnel annual review calendar.
· Supporting prospecting for and coordinating logistics for professional development of team.
· Supporting the onboarding of new employees.
· Demonstrating empathy, being transparent and accountable, respecting and establishing healthy boundaries, and providing consistent and high-quality customer service.
· Working cooperatively with internal and external partners to align efforts, build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, share and leverage information, and achieve outcomes.
· Other duties as assigned.
*Experience and Qualifications:*
2+ years of professional experience required with a proven track record in customer service or social services.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
· Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM databases.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and good judgment.
· Knowledgeable about the challenges that face residents in low-income neighborhoods as the result of long-standing racial exclusion.
