Position Summary
The Washington University School of Medicine Operations & Facilities Management Department (OFMD) provides a range of services for the medical campus in a customer-focused, efficient, and sustainable manner.
Operations & Facilities Management maintains 61 university buildings and provides operational, planning, and construction services to over 8.
3 million gross square feet of space.
We will open three new facilities between 2023 and 2025 with over 1.
5M BGSF.
In addition, the School of Medicine continues expanding its reach on and off campus in teaching, clinical care, and research.
Our team plays a vital and important role in delivering care, research, and services.
This position provides general administrative project and/or program support for the department or program areas and conducts ancillary custodial responsibilities for the Medical campus.
Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates and performs daily tasks to ensure the functioning of the administrative office.
Assists in development/coordination of programs/projects.
Manages custodial workloads and develop quarterly job cards through a cleanable space database.
Assists with all custodial Standard Operating Procedure development.
Plans logistics and provides administrative support for programs such as quality assurance, campus space assessment, electronic display program in custodial areas, occupancy assessments, position summary, facility operations team’s reports, DuPont safety training, custodial training, and pest control.
Coordinates, manages, and updates communications for the Custodial Services unit of the Operations and Facilities Management Department, including verbal, written, and electronic communications and websites, which may include initiating/reviewing drafts of various communications.
Provides some general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, meetings, custodial and travel arrangements.
Performs other duties as assigned by the custodial manager or director of custodial operations.
Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or a minimum of two years of related experience.
Valid Missouri Class E or Illinois Class D driver’s license within six months of hire.
Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of computer applications and programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with a broad and diverse range of people.
In-depth knowledge of office procedures.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent high school certification and two years of administrative office experience.
Grade G07-H Salary Range $18.
91 - $29.
32 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
