The basics of this position: ****Spring 2024**** STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve as the program coordinator for the new Computed Tomography (CT) program.
This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Spring 2024.
What you'll do: The new hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with community college teaching experience in the medical imaging and those possessing a graduate degree.
The new Computed Tomography faculty member will be expected to teach, mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the Computed Tomography program, and serve on departmental and campus committees.
The candidate must hold active ARRT credentials in both radiography(R) and computed tomography(CT).
They will assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of radiography to the community.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment.
Education, experience, and other requirements: Baccalaureate degree required.
Active ARRT (R)(CT) credentials.
3-5 years experience in computed tomography.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred.
