The WBDC is hiring for an Associate, Government Contracting Program and Services.
This role is based in St.
Louis, MO.
This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Government Contracting Program and Services.

The Role:
The Associate, Government Contracting Program and Services supports the growth and administration of the Government Contracting team.
The Government Contracting Program provides assistance to established entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved.
This role will also act as the Project Coordinator, Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC).
The Project Coordinator primarily supports the work and activities of the SBTRC Project Director and SBTRC Executive Director.
This role supports providing access to opportunities, technical assistance, and financial resources to small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the planning and facilitation of WBDC programs and services.
Assist clients with evaluating contract preparedness, including topics like bonding, financing, and certification.
Manage written and verbal communications with external stakeholders, partners, and clients, including inquiries and requests.
Maintain accurate team calendars and scheduling, including briefs and alerts, correspondences, and updates.
Coordinate administrative needs and activities with Project Director?s guidance.
Lead contractor outreach coordination and gathering success story data.
Support project needs, including preparation of reports, presentations, and travel arrangements.
Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
Assist marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
Align with the WBDC?s overall strategic goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Working knowledge of construction industry-related subjects, including estimating, bidding, or accounting.
Strong communication and organizational skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
2+ years of work experience
Bachelor?s degree
Passionate about women?s issues and economic development

The salary range for this position within the WBDC is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
