Do not RENT FROM THIS LANDLORD.
I am a tenant in Cathy Buerk's house at 140 Reavis Place, Webster Groves, MO.
63119; for 7 months for paying a significant monthly rent.
The house had no working stove, hot water for the first 3 weeks; the heating and cooling unit is 40 years old and does not work.
It is now January, my house is 48 degrees, as the unit was shut down by a HVAC company, because the unit was emitting Carbon Monoxide in my house.
Cathy Buerke-landlord is unethical, dishonest and just creepy.
I have cameras in my house for my pet, the camera has caught the landlord- Cathy Buerk numerous times in my house when I am not home (no permission was granted), she knows when I am not home, because there is NO Garage, she constantly drives by(she lives 1 mile away in Webster)and wen I am not home(car is not in the driveway), Cathy enters the house.
Neighbors' witnesses Cathy entering entered my home, without permission.
When asked about this, she will deny any of her actions.
Cathy entered my neighbor's house (directly across the street) on 2 different occasions, caught on camera and witnessed, without any permission.
This neighbor does not know her, but Cathy entered their home on 2 occasions; walked throughout their home, cameras caught Cathy, but she denies all her actions.
l had to report her to the Webster Groves Building Commissioner who has sent a letter after calling her (Buerk never responded!); hired an attorney and I have to rent out an additional room that provides warmth.
Cathy Buerke owns 3 other properties in Webster Groves; the other tenants have experienced the same unethical Landlord practices.
A couple of weeks ago.

Louis had when chills -30 to-40 degrees and Cathy Buerke offered me firewood for the fireplace for warmth; I asked her the last time this 70-year-old house had the fireplace cleaned, she said.
"Never been cleaned"! She will collect your rent and fix nothing with NO REGARD to your well-being.
The previous tenant, before me was so physically sick, because of the house condition, she left the house, leaving her property behind, just to get away from CATHY BUERK.
The pic below was left from the St.
Louis HVAC company that shut down the unit, because of the CARBON MONIXIDE from the holes in the coils-pipes inside the furnace has been blowing inside my house!
I have also attached pic pf the flooding in the basement on EVERY RAIN.
The house has MASSIVE MOLD throughout the house.
There is pics of the ATTIC Insulation, its over 60 years old.
The house is cold in Winter, even though the thermostat is set at 74; Summer is very hot, especially the front room even with the thermostat set at 72.
The tenant before me Cynthia Jacoby was so scared of Cathy Buerk, Cynthia Jacoby left all her property to avoid Cathy's toxicity and psychotic behavior.
I have posted many pic of the Webster Groves Building Commissioners Letter to Close the house down, because it was uninhabitable, flooding, mold, attic insulation.
