Child Care Center Kitchen Cook

Seeking a dependable, responsible, trustworthy, and experienced cook to work in a child care facility's kitchens.
Position available in West County (63141).
Responsibilities include: * Meeting the standards and expectations set by the Center Directors and other administrative staff for the given position.
* Helps to develop fresh and nutritious menu with Program Director * Places order for kitchen/keeps inventory.
Communicates supply needs to administration as needed.
* Keeps kitchen areas clean and clutter free.
* Serve Safe certification is preferred but training can take place during employment as well.
* Uses effective time management skills, uses time efficiently (planning, ordering, restocking, extra cleaning, etc.
) * Complete all duties assigned by supervisor which can include cleaning and classroom support.
* Maintain and meet all state regulations, including sanitary and safety guidelines.
* Maintain continued efficiency of the kitchen and production of consistent, quality food.
* Prepare and serve 2 meals and 2 snacks daily to 100+ children * Required to complete state and facility mandated trainings.
* Team player and flexible * Medical Physical and TB clearance required * Ability to take leadership when in charge of the kitchen At least 1 year of experience preferred.
Compensation depends on experience/education Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $16.
