_Teacher Assistant_
We are looking to hire attentive Child Care Teachers to perform all duties necessary to ensure that children’s basic needs are adequately taken care of with love.
The Childcare Teacher’s responsibilities include feeding and grooming children, introducing children to new, age-appropriate hobbies, cleaning the facility, and sanitizing all toys and play areas.
You should also be able to identify and address behavioral problems.
To be successful as a Childcare Teacher, you are responsible for maintaining progress reports of all children under your care.
Ultimately, we seek exceptional Childcare Teachers who will cultivate a safe and loving environment conducive to growth and learning.
Assist the director in effectively maintaining the following:
* Providing primary care for children; includes feeding, grooming, and changing diapers.
* Develop age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
* Encourage positive behavior and good manners.
* Use various learning methods, such as stories, games, and drawing, to stimulate children intellectually.
* Identify behavioral problems and develop appropriate strategies to address them.
* Attend staff meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to address any issues, concerns, or parent complaints.
* Provide a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
* Communicate with parents and provide updates on children’s progress.

* Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care.
* Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
* Help children maintain good hygiene.
* Change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
Experience preferred.
Childcare Teacher Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Child Care Professional (CCP) certification is advantageous.
* Proven experience working as a Childcare Teacher.
* Certification in First Aid and CPR.
* Clear criminal background check (Identago.

* In-depth understanding of childhood development.
* Strong conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Attentive and patient.
* Current physical (able to lift 20 lbs)
* TB test
* Family Care Safety Registry (conducted every two (2) years).
Shifts available: Monday-Friday 6am-1pm, 1pm- 6:30pm and 9am-6pm
Saturdays 9am-1pm, 1pm- 5:30pm and 9am-5:30pm

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and students three years and older must wear a mask at all times.
Two-year-old students must wear a face shield or mask.

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
* Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
* Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
