We are looking for a Child Care Worker to encourage the healthy physical, spiritual, intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our center.
You will fully supervise and help teach them while also motivating them to develop age-appropriate skills.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide basic care and caregiving activities, ensuring children's safety through constant supervision
* Assist the lead teacher with lesson execution
* Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and health and safety procedures
* Implement classroom routines and rules
* Instruct children on classroom behavior and procedures
* Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
* Observe children’s interactions and promote a spirit of kindness, cooperation and respect
* Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
* Maintain classroom materials, equipment, and arranged spaces creating an inviting, pleasant and tidy atmosphere for the children
* Keep the children and the facility reasonably clean and in order
*Requirements*
* Must have a pastoral reference from a Bible-believing church
* Patience, flexibility and love for children
* Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
* Certificate in first aid and CPR, or willing to become so
* Must be registered with the Family Care Safety Registry and able to pass a background screening
