Racquet Club Ladue is looking for Sports Day Camp Counselors.
What do Camp Counselors do?
The most important of all Camp Counselor duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times.
You’ll be responsible for programming and overseeing their activities.
The job duties of the Camp Counselor also include planning summer camp games and setting up equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Leading recreational activities (such as swimming, tennis, badminton, kickball, Spikeball, etc.
)
Adjusting to different number of kids daily for games and fun
Creating and leading indoor games and fun with limited space on rainy days
Encouraging positive attitudes and good sportsmanship
Supervision of young campers at all times
Camp Counselor qualifications
Reliability, energy, positivity, responsibility, fun and ability to build good relationships with children are sought after traits.
If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina) are also necessary.
