Charles and we will compensate for experience.
*Role and responsibilities*
Oversee daily class operations and making changes as necessary
Ensure the daycare is operating under the guidelines of Fire and Sanitation with the Missouri Section of Childcare
Ensure that staff is fully performing their job responsibilities/duties and team building
Enrollments and dismissals of children
Shared decision-making
Time keeping of staff
Ensure that all children are signed in and out with the correct signature and date
Provide assistance to teachers in creating curriculum for all of the classrooms
Creation of a safe, respectful, and fair environment for students and staff
Notify parents of facility closings
*EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS*
Minimum of 3 years as a lead teacher or a center director; director qualified for up to 99 children from an accredited or approved college or university, with an *emphasis in early childhood education or child development*.
Administration and management *experience skills preferred*.
Proficiency in current Microsoft Office programs, knowledge of Pro-Care preferred, but not required.
We are willing to train.
Be able to pass FCSR background check and MACHS fingerprinting background screening.
Three (3) years experience with eighteen(18) college semester credits in child-related courses will qualify you for up to 99 student capacity
OR Ninety (90) college semester credits with eighteen (18) of the credits in child related courses

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills and the ability to take charge.
Familiar with the licensing requirements of Missouri and DESE
Solid organizational skills
Critical thinker able to focus on the details while still seeing the big picture
Socially perceptive, able to work with our diverse population of families and staff
Knowledge of curriculum and training methods
Flexible and adaptable, willing to fill in where situations require
Possess the ability to maintain composure and keep emotions in check during stressful situations
