Infant Teacher

Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning - Use early intervention techniques to support children with special needs or developmental delays - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Incorporate physical education, math, and other subjects into daily activities - Supervise children during outdoor playtime and field trips - Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred - Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and staff members - Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students is a plus - Familiarity with childcare regulations and licensing requirements - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
