Duties required of staff employed at Ivy League:
* Providing quality care and early education for children aged 6 weeks-12 years.
* DCFS compliance
* Cleaning and sanitizing
* Following a pre-written lesson plan; following instruction and completing tasks given by the lead teacher
* Helping children with meal times, bathroom breaks, etc.
* Playing and interacting with young children
* Monitoring play times
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
