Wee Care Learning Center is one of the many ministries of Unity Baptist Church
We believe it is a sacred responsibility to help modern day parents raise their children to be well adjusted, happy, Christian youths and adults.
We recognize that half of what our children will ever know they will learn before they are five years of age.
Therefore, what we teach them will affect them the rest of their lives.
Wee Care Learning Center focuses on the growth of the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of the whole child.
Our program will allow each child an opportunity to grow gradually and naturally in all areas of learning and will enable them to follow directions, think independently, and to resolve issues successfully allowing for a positive self-image.
Accepting applications for FULL & PART Time Teachers desiring to work in faith-based early childhood education center.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired) Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
(Minimum) Thirty (30) semester hours with six (6) semester hours in Early Childhood Education and one year experience in an early childhood setting.
JOB DESCRIPTION: • Plan and implement age appropriate curriculum for children ages 2 – 5 years and school age.
• Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter.
• Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development such as language, motor and social skills.
• Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests and develop talents.
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest and playtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30,500.
