We are currently seeking early childhood teachers for our 2's-3's room to provide quality education to preschool children.
You will be in charge of their holistic development, and to promote healthy, active lifestyles.
You will also supervise, instruct and counsel children.
As an early childhood teacher, you will develop a curriculum.
Ultimately, you should be able to teach children how to communicate effectively, work in groups and play safely with others.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and develop curricula and teaching activities to meet the developmental needs of children in various age groups.
* Set clear objectives for each lesson and evaluate the effectiveness of their implementation.
* Observe, assess and appropriately advise parents on daily care.
* Assist children with educational activities like reading, writing, and math using different methods (games, exercises etc.
) based on each student's individual needs.
* Provide specialized assistance to children with special needs or physical challenges.
* Develop and maintain a safe, healthy and clean learning environment for children (e.
g.
check temperature levels in various rooms).
* Supervise children while they are on the playground or in the cafeteria to ensure their safety at all times.
* Maintain student records (e.
g.
grades, attendance records etc.
).
