Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Incorporate math concepts into daily activities and lessons
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Associates or CDA Preferred.
If you don't have either credential, Our program will pay for school certifications or degrees.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to plan and implement engaging lessons that meet educational objectives
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learners
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured and organized environment
