Infant Teacher

*We currently have a full time Teacher Positions Open!* We are looking for a Full time Assistant Teacher at our *Brighton Program* for the infant classroom.
This position is 40 hours per week with benefits.
Hours to be set based on the needs of the program and employee qualifications.
Our hours of operation are 6:30am-6:00pm, and hours will adjust within this time frame accordingly.
Hours expected to be approximately 9:00am-6:00pm.
*Salary Range: *Based on position, education, and credential level.
Starting salary ranges between $15.
75 - $18.
70 + benefits (including medical, dental, vacation, sick, retirement, etc) and bonuses available.
In addition scholarships are available to continue your education to grow within our company after 90 days.
*Requirements:* * At least 19 years old.
* 60 Credit hours of college credit with 6 credit hours related to Early Childhood * or 30 Credit hours of college and 6 hours related to Early Childhood with one year experience in a classroom.
* Completed physical upon hire with TB Test and Appropriate Shot Record * Receive and maintain a clear background check through DCFS *Location: *Brighton Step By Step; 402 N Maple; Brighton, IL 62012 *Duties: *Some, but not all duties include: * Assist in a quality classroom that ensures the safety of children and staff at all times * Lead the classroom in the absence of the lead teacher.
* Assure the classroom is in compliance with regulatory agencies at all times * Communicate and maintain positive working relationships with parents and staff daily * Interact with children within the program at their level * Follow and complete Cleaning Checklists * Assure children are changed regularly * Complete and follow through with lesson plans and child assessments daily * Assure classroom responsibilities are completed daily Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
