Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as math, language, science, and social emotional learning
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Experience:
- Interest and comfortablility around young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and/or approach to meet individual needs of each child
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
