*Job Title: After Care Monitor* *Location: Fairview Heights, Illinois* *Responsibilities:* As an After Care Monitor at Legacy Christian Academy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our students during after-school hours.
Your responsibilities will include: * *Overseeing Outside Play and Activities:* * Supervise and facilitate outdoor play and activities for students.
* Ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for children.
* *Monitoring Student Behavior:* * Observe and manage student behavior to maintain a safe play environment.
* Intervene when necessary to address any behavioral concerns.
* *Incident and Accident Reporting:* * Report any incidents or accidents promptly using established forms and procedures.
* Collaborate with school staff to address and resolve any issues that may arise.
* *Clocking Students In and Out:* * Utilize our online system to accurately clock students in and out.
* Maintain accurate attendance records for after-school care.
* *Qualifications:* * Minimum age of 18 years old.
* Successful completion of a background check.
* Completion of a Ministry Safe course.
* *Schedule:* * Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM (hours may vary based on the last student leaving).
* *Child-Centric and Christ-Centered:* * Possess a genuine love for working with children.
* Previous experience in childcare is preferred.
* Comfortable with both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on the weather.
* Alignment with Christian values, as Legacy Christian Academy is a Christian school.
* Willingness to work inside the church or outside on the playground as needed.
* *Reporting Structure:* * Directly report to the school principal.
