*Center Director*
We are seeking a positive, highly organized individual to lead our growing team of teachers and paraprofessionals in delivering exceptional infant and autism care for St.
Louis families.
The director is responsible for supervising and supporting team members, growing enrollment, overseeing billing, training new team members, working with licensing, and all other administrative responsibilities outlined below.
Computer literacy is a must.
Prior director experience is helpful but not required, as we will provide extensive training and support in all aspects of the job.
A fundamental understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder is required.
Qualified applicants have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are calm and flexible, and have a heart for special education students.
_*Essential Responsibilities:*_
* Develop and maintain the staff schedule and be the on-site point person to support teachers and paras as they run their classrooms.
Keep staff files and education up to date per licensing requirements.
* Grow enrollment through social media posts, website updates, center tours, and special events.
* Enroll families and implement billing protocols.
Facilitate intake meetings.
Keep student files up to date per licensing requirements, and help care for the unique needs of each individual student and his or her family.
* Ensure that center policies and procedures align with state licensing requirements.
Be the on-site point person for licensing inspections.
* Schedule and run fire and evacuation drills.
* Support and help maintain a safe, clean, positive learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for infants and children with Autism.
* Purchase groceries and other center supplies.
* Communicate with parents via text, app, phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
* Organize and attend field trips.
* Hire and train new team members.
* Supervise children, when needed.
* Work with First Steps and private therapists to schedule in-center services to support the development of enrollees.
* Develop new policies unique to our center and its needs.
* Organize and facilitate team meetings and trainings.
* Attend and run parent education evenings or events as requested.
* Ensure all classroom and play equipment and materials are in good working condition and are used properly.
* Work with the owners to carry out any policy changes or center protocols per their request.
*Job Type:* Full-time, year-round
*Pay:* $18.
50 per hour
*Schedule:* Monday through Friday
*Experience:* Sixty (60) college semester hours.
Twelve (12) of the hours must be in child-related courses; or twenty-four (24) months experience and twelve (12) college semester hours in child-related courses, such as elementary ed, child development, psychology, nutrition, nursing, and so on.
Classroom and/or daycare experience required.
Must have credentials for 99+ children.
