Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining discipline and promoting positive behavior
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's health and well-being, including diaper changes and restroom assistance
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare facility
Requirements:
- Previous experience Manageing Daycare center, Ability to be license for 100+ kids
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Associates degree
_*MUST have or ability to get Class E Driver License and ability to travel to two locations*_
1.
Determine safety, Maintenance, and security requirements for the facility.
Coordinate parent's partnerships plan, including orientations, meet and greet, newsletter, bulletin board, and class parent involvement activities.
Trains and supervises staff, sets instructional objectives, and works to build a rapport with parents.

Hire, train, and supervise all employees.

Develop and supervise all employees.

Develop and supervise classroom programs, curriculum, and schedules to ensure best practices and developmentally appropriate practices.

Oversee food service

Knowledge of child care licensing regulations.

Multi-tasking, report writing skills, observations skills reports, computer skills including word processing and online operations

Check and approve the weekly curriculum that the teachers prepare.

Approve all menus for children and food supplies.

Manage day-to-day activities at the center.

Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.

Develop academic programs.

Monitor children and teachers for progress.
15.
Train, encourage, and mentor teachers and other staff.

Administer record keeping

Enroll children

Maintain rapport with parents.

Handle tours and marketing of center

Work actively with teachers to maintain high curriculum standards.

Formulate mission statement

Establish performance goals and objectives.

Explain or answer procedural questions.

Visit classrooms and observe teaching, handling, and caring methods.

Revise instructional objectives and adjust accordingly.

Prepare time cards for payroll.

Report any suspected abuse to the proper authorities.

Handle all backgrounds screening, handle clock hours, STAFF SHEETS, EMPLOYEE MEDICAL FORMS.

DO OTHER MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES.

Collect tuition.

Must be familiar with all employee's jobs.

Must be familiar with the facility s/he reports at.

Must know company phone numbers, licensing rules, and emergency plans.

Know CACFP

Obtain a food handlers' license certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,157.
