Camp Counselor

*Job Summary:* Are you looking for a fun and rewarding summer job? A West County Montessori Preschool is currently hiring summer camp counselors and lifeguards to work May 28 - August 9, 2024, at this year's Camp of the Arts.
*Summer Camp Counselor Responsibilities:* - Supervising children in the classroom and on the playground.
- Ensuring that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
- Keeping the classroom clean and orderly.
- Planning and leading age appropriate art projects, games, and activities - Communicating with parents and families.
- Establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with the children and other staff members.
*Lifeguard Responsibilities:* - Supervising children in swimming activities and ensuring that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
- Inspecting pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure they are safe and usable, as well as assisting in cleaning the pool-related areas.
- Instructing preschool classes in the fundamentals of swimming and water safety.
- Establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with the children and other staff members.
All applicants will be asked to complete a pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and fingerprinting as required by our childcare license.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.
50 - $16.
