Extended Day Aide

TITLE OF POSITION: Extended Day Aide QUALIFICATIONS: Mature High School/College Student 1-2 years working with children REPORTS TO: Head of School POSITION SUMMARY: The Extended Day Aide assists in maintaining and implementing all aspects of operating the program.
STATUS: Monday through Friday 3:15-5:30pm $15 per hour PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Helps prepare program materials; assists in the daily clean-up of program projects.
Assists in preparing routine paperwork.
Attends instructional sessions as directed.
Maintains a positive relationship with parents, children and other staff.
Utilizes effective and appropriate behavioral management techniques.
Assists in supervising and maintaining control of students and implementing planned recreational and educational activities.
Maintains a safe physical environment.
Performs all other responsibilities as assigned.
