Instructional Technology Assistant/Swim Chaperone

Instructional Technology Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY: This position assists the Instructional Technology Department in day- to- day operations.
This position assists with equipment repair, hardware, and software applications.
This position may also assist with supervision of students participating in Confluence Academies’ summer school swimming program in partnership with the YMCA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professionally handle technology equipment including unboxing, packing, relocating, inspecting, cleaning, minor repairs, and imaging
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network related issues
Assist with classroom, lab, and event setups
Support the operations of the Family/Student Support Desk
Assist teachers and administrators with preparing students to board the bus for travel to and from designated pool area
Serve as bus monitor/chaperone while traveling to and from designated pool area
Serve as chaperone while students participate in swim lessons and unstructured swimming/activities
Maintains strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders consistently maintaining a courteous, professional, and effective manner
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned

Education and Experience: Must be enrolled at a Confluence Academies high school for the 2021-2022 school year and qualify as a junior or senior based on credit hours passed.
Language Skills: Ability to read and analyze and interpret technical procedures and instructions.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, other basic math functions.
Technology Abilities: Ability to understand and operate technology in an instructional setting while using a variety of standardized methods.
