Our newest location, located in Kirwood, has recently won the" Best of Kirkwood" award 2 years in a row.
Our centers are spacious, clean, unique, and provide a strong educational foundation for our students.
Our staff work 10 hours per day, four days per week and are given an excellent benefit package with an offer for a contract for employment for a year.
Our centers close at 5:15 to allow our parents to get to spend more time with their children, as well as our staff to have a work life balance with their own families.
Duties - Assist the lead teacher in following the lesson plans and caring for the children's needs - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs without restrictions - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment - Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns or updates Skills - Classroom management: Ability to maintain a structured and organized classroom environment - Able to care for children that may have special needs - Infant /Toddler Care Experience in caring for infants/toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques - Previous experience as a nanny, or priorteaching providing care and educational activities for young children - Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care and support for children's physical and emotional well-being - Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods - First aid: Certification in first aid procedures for children, including CPR if applicable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
