The screen is fully usable but you can see some black specks, some yellow splotches, and some bright spots here and there.
They are mostly visible on a white background, but harder to see on non-white backgrounds.
Look at the photos in the ad where we point these out.
Our camera has a hard time picking these issues up, but just be aware that the screen does have cosmetic imperfections.
In addition, the laptop does not go into standby when you close the lid right away.
It will go into standby after a few minutes of inactivity, but the laptop doesn't recognize when the screen is closed so it won't go into standby right away.
This is a minor issue though as the laptop will go into standby anyways after a few minutes of inactivity.
Overall we think the laptop is a great buy for anyone wanting a functional laptop at a discounted price.
