English [ U.K. ] Lead Garden Bird Bath - imported by us in 1996 (Ballwin / Wildwood)

Few items speak to the pedigree of an exceptional garden like English artistic lead pieces.
Lead Garden Ornaments are quintessentially English - planters, benches, bird baths, statues, sundials, etc.
In 1996 we went to a very major Garden Show in Birmingham, England.

E.
E show - Garden, Leisure, Equipment, Exhibition - a rather clumsy name so I prefer to stick with the GLEE name ! We bought and shipped home this artistic Cupid Boy birdbath and have had it in our garden since then.
One thing about lead - it weathers perfectly, nothing bothers it, and it’s virtually indestructible.
It can handle all of our St.
Louis weather extremes.
Another thing about lead - it is HEAVY ! VERY HEAVY.
It should be moved on a strong dolly-type garden device - [ which I have here ] - will take two, probably three very strong individuals to lift it - will need to be transported in a pickup, van, SUV, hatchback or some other conveyance with open, easy access.
Although it is heavy, lead is a pliable metal and therefore should be held, lifted, and moved with care so as not to distort it.
It measures 27” tall, the basin is 14” across, and the base is 9” in diameter.
