This is a cedar portable/modular deck created from four TOMMY DOCKS Cedar Dock Kits - each Tommy Dock kit builds a 4' x 8' dock section (it is Home Depot SKU: TD-20777) so right now we have an 8 foot by 16 foot freestanding / floating (no permit needed) deck in the back yard.
You can use them in any combination, for example, you could use to make a 4 foot by 32 foot dock or boardwalk.
I have 4" x 4" posts and concrete deck blocks that can take 4x4, 6x6 or 2" boards (Menards Model Number: 1794278 Menards ® SKU: 1794278).
There are 6" to 10" bolts holding it together in the current configuration.
All hardware will be included, with extras.
You can have all the 4x4's too (also cedar) but due to our installation on a slope, they are all different lengths, from about 8" to 20".
Home Depot and Tommy Dock have hardware that goes with these kits if you wanted to use these as an actual dock.
If you buy it, we will disassemble into the 4 sections and get ready for you to take from the yard but you will need a large vehicle and helper(s).
Each section weighs 95 lbs and the blocks are around 45 lbs each.
They are in great used shape, are slightly weathered and have holes where connected together.
They are all the same color - one corner had something sitting on it so a little less weathered, but it will even out soon in the sun.
Asking $2,400 for all, a bargain for a complete 128-square-foot floating deck! Come take a look and see for yourself, but email soon.
Send your number and a preferred date/time you can get to the Ladue area to see it.
Do you have a use for this for a non-profit? let us know.
