Basic Description:
Assist Servicing Compliance Officer in connection with compliance oversight tasks associated with residential mortgage servicing.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control-Monthly review (Initial Reviews, Responses, Tracking)
Quality Control- Quarterly review (Initial Reviews, Responses, Tracking)
Report and communicate findings form mortgage loan servicing reviews to senior management according to internal QC requirements
Assist with exam prep for all audits including but not limited to State, Investor, and Agency audits.
Monitor Servicing Compliance question/answer email as assigned
Maintain knowledge of applicable agency guidelines including FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie, Freddie, and Ginnie.
Assist with regulatory enactment including but not limited to communicating and implementing policy and procedures, staff training, and monitoring.
Reporting-State, Federal, Investor, Agency as assigned
Monitor QC program vendor for software updates, revise policies, and instruct staff
Support servicing staff to ensure long term success.
Any additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires accuracy, organization, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate across the organization
Must present a professional image to represent Flat Branch at all times
2+ years of mortgage servicing experience including in depth knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional guidelines
Knowledge of loan default and loss mitigation requirements
Understanding of Loan Servicing Standards as set forth by the CFPB (RESPA, TILA, etc.
)
Sound knowledge of the mortgage servicing process and workflow
Knowledge of disclosures, TRID documents and other regulatory documentation applicable to residential servicing
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
