Legal Assistant-Complex Personal Injury

Job Summary: The CPI Legal Assistant is an integral part of the Paralegal/Attorney team and will assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks that are crucial in getting the client the best result possible.
This will be a hybrid work schedule, reporting to our Hill office for occasional in person work.
Duties and Responsibilities: Order police/incident/supplemental reports Prepare and fax Letters of Representation and initial client correspondence Heavy data entry Update and maintain case information within our case management system Coordinate and schedule depositions Submit invoices for payment Handle various correspondence Investigation using Westlaw, Rejis, MSHP, etc.
Prepare subpoena packets Assist in trial prep / discovery packets Assist with filing documents electronically with the court system Follow up calls to clients and providers as needed Coordinate and schedule recorded statements Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Previous personal injury experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organization skills Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Education: Associates Degree preferred Benefits: Beyond the benefits listed below, Brown & Crouppen has been recognized as a Top Workplace by The St.
