Position is working with families through applying for various long term care benefit programs through their estate planning.
Position is very heavy client contact, must be friendly and comfortable with seniors and their families going through very stressful times in their lives.
Successful candidate is independent, eager to learn and research items independently, and very detailed oriented.
Prior legal experience is required, but not necessarily in estate planning/elder law, although preferred.
This is a position that will be the last job you have if you are a good fit and have the skill set.
Tasks include working with families to gather data, initial drafting of legal documents, and completing applications for programs for review and submission.
Must be able to have many balls in the air simultaneously and not let any drop, so working in organizational systems are keys to success.
Compensation dependent on relevant experience, with potential for rapid growth if the right person is selected.
Please understand that if you don't have estate planning or elder law experience, you are going to be at the lower end of the range- but a good hire will see significant increases based on productivity
