Legal Operations Coordinator
ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Kindeva Legal and Regulatory departments.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for processing company’s state drug distribution licenses ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for coordinating and processing annual business reporting activities in conjunction with company’s registered agent
• Review communications and reports, including marketing materials, FDA annual reports, etc.
• Provide litigation, discovery process and content matter support to General and Corporate Counsel, as needed
• Perform legal research upon request
• Assist with generation of commercial contract summaries upon request
• Coordinate Legal and Regulatory department reporting and analytics
• Maintains and distributes information regarding company’s legal hold list, as needed
• Coordinate with Quality Administration to help administer company’s document retention program
• Coordinate and schedule Legal and Regulatory team meetings, distribute meeting minutes
• Assist with monitoring of legal service provider expenses and deliverables, as needed
• Assist with Legal and Regulatory department budget monitoring forecasting, requisitioning as needed
• Organize and maintain current departmental files and intranet sites
• Serve as back-up administrator for policy management system (creating and managing approval workflows, publishing, attestations and reporting)
• Miscellaneous administrative/project support for Legal and Regulatory departments, as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
• Effective time management; ability to prioritize work with minimal oversight; self-starter and self -motivated, ability to work independently, think and act pro-actively.
• High level of agility and has ability to manage many demands and changes to priorities and timelines.
• Exceptional organization, interpersonal and communication skills; Respect for people value is a strength.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; ability to navigate and utilize MS Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Office with high degree of proficiency; ability to utilize other network resources to find information, seek solutions and address questions.
Aptitude and willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year work experience in a legal operations support capacity
• Demonstrated ability to carry out all functions proficiently to complete quality work on a timely basis.
• Takes initiative complete tasks independently, involves others in completing projects and process improvements, as needed; takes ownership of work product.
Independently uses own judgment to determine work methods and procedures appropriate to a variety of complex situations.
