Legal Support Clerk II

HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm, is currently seeking a Full-Time Legal Support Clerk II to join our dedicated defense team in our St.
Louis, MO, office.

Experience at HeplerBroom will include: Preparing time entry for attorneys and paralegals Reviewing authorizations for HIPPA compliance Conducting miscellaneous research projects - CaseNet, Westlaw, social media Keeping up to date on all active physical files Maintaining case logs for practice area cases, monitoring deadlines and status updates (if requested by group) Assisting secretaries with opening and closing files process Backing up secretaries for e-filing request Backing up secretaries for bates stamping or redacting of documents Backing up maintenance of docket calendar Ideal Candidate will have: Minimum 1+ years of legal experience Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills Ability to anticipate needs and work both proactively and reactively in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to quickly learn new technologies Strong proofreading and editing skills Ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and meet internal and external deadlines HeplerBroom is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
