I am not new to buying or selling guitars online.
Just new to Reverb.
The guitar has a solid spruce top that is X braced with rosewood back and sides (possibly Brazilian I was told).
The neck is one piece mahogany.
The nut width is 1 13/16" with a string spacing at the bridge is 2 13/16".
The bridge is ebony with a compensated saddle.
The scale length is about 25 6/16".
There is a truss rod that is adjustable through the sound hole.
The peg head and fingerboard are made of rosewood.
The bound fingerboard is inlaid with shell at the 5th, 7th,12th and 14th frets and has side markers as well.
The fingerboard is extended over the fretboard and supported to the 24th fret.
The rosette is inlaid with a dark shell.
There is a white binding with a black, white wood, black, white wood purling along the top.
The back and sides have a black, white wood purling.
The back center strip is wood bordered with thin white wood on either side.
The heel cover is ivoroid with a strap button.
The upper bout is 11", the lower bout measures 16" across and the waist is 9 3/8".
Body depth is 4.
75" deep at the bottom bout, this is a big and powerful guitar.
The original case shows wear with black tape over the lightly damaged Rolex.
This guitar, as with all my guitars, are kept in a humidity/temperature controlled environment.
I would say the guitar is close to excellent shape overall and plays beautifully.
A very well crafted guitar with excellent tone.
