Selmer Tenor Saxophone 1931 Lacquer - $3,990 (St. Peters)

This tenor is considered a Cigar Cutter era of Selmer saxes.
But! It does not have the linkage for the octave key mechanism of the Cigar Cutter style making it more likely called a "PRE SUPER" tenor.
It is made in France.
It has the character selmer sound.

Serial # 16___ Puts this horn as a 1931 date.
Great playing (even though it could use a few pads).
Overall in great playing and looking condition considering the age.
Plays great from high altissimo down to low Bb.
NO dents but mild scrape at bell near B and Bb pads and of course lacquer wear.
Comes with SKB hard fitted case.
Case is in great shape.
