My name is Andrea, 45yo experienced, native Italian drummer, based out of St.
Louis (Southampton neighborhood).
I moved from Fort Collins, CO, just about a year ago.
I am ready to start over fresh after the pandemic, and I am looking to join an established high energy, soulful, funk band, even better if with a good brass section (think Snarky Puppy).
My honest zone of comfort is playing with musicians about my same age range (34 to 44 years old).
Yes, I believe age in this business is relevant, as well as how you present yourself on the stage.
I am not going to play free or "promotional" gigs.
Playing drums is fun, but hauling gear to/from places is hard physical labor, and musicians should be paid commensurately for doing their job.
My influences are mostly funk and rock/pop music.
NOTE: I do NOT play metal, "alternative," or anything like that.

I have an extensive knowledge of the 80s American rock and pop music.
I used to play until very recently with The Pamlico Sound, a funk band based out of Boulder, CO.
I am still very good friends with them.
They can provide excellent references.
At the moment I do not have any other ongoing projects.
I would only commit to a band that I like and that I can trust.
I stay out of trouble.
I would not tolerate band members doing drugs, alcohol, or carrying with them other kinds of legal/personal drama.
Please send me your information (story, repertoire, band members' info, practice days and location), and your vision, if at all possible.
Please also include your online presence, such as links to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Website, etc.
Rock on,
Andrea
