A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTO PARTS ADVISOR
In this automotive position, you utilize electronic catalogs, reference books, and internal computer systems to find the right parts for each job.
Attentive to detail, you process orders, billing, credit returns, and transaction reconciliation.
You meet daily and monthly sales objectives with ease.
When there are incoming phone calls from service shops and customers, you answer cheerfully.
You sell parts and accessories to customers, handling payments and keeping an open line of communication with them about their order status.
When our service advisors sell maintenance or repair services, you help provide quotes and order parts.
As orders come in, you go through everything, checking for accuracy.
Then, you restock our inventory.
You take pride in the fantastic customer service you provide!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTO PARTS ADVISOR
Experience in a similar position
Sales skills
Phone etiquette and computer proficiency
Experience in an auto repair or maintenance position would be a plus.
