fit-flavors Chesterfield Store Manager Department: Operations Reports To: Director of Operations Exemption Status: Exempt Date Prepared: December 19, 2023 Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our fit-flavors Chesterfield location and team.
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, and managing your team to achieve customer experience and sales goals.
Education & Experience Minimum of 2 years of retail, food service, or similar management experience (fit-flavors employees only) Must be an employee for at least 6 months The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service Previous experience with staff scheduling Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets Schedule Full Time; 40-45 hours / week - 4 in-store shifts - Office hours Required to work at least 3 week day shifts - 9:45 AM - 7:15 PM; Monday - Friday Required to work 1 weekend shift - 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM; Saturday or Sunday - Must be flexible and willing to work with your team to share weekend coverage Compensation $45,000 / yr PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to walk & move quickly within a busy environment - Physical ability to stand for long periods of time - Ability to tolerate cooler environment (40 degree walk-in cooler) - Ability to reach with arms, bend, squat, kneel unassisted and use hands, and lift 25 lb cases of food BENEFITS PACKAGE: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance 401K (with 4% company match) Paid time off Paid holidays Additional benefit programs (ex: free group workout/training services) 50% discount off meals and 30% discount off meals for immediate family members 1 free shift meal when working Family environment Opportunities to grow professionally in a fast-growing local business Key Result Areas & Responsibilities Store Operations - Lead and manage all aspects of the store operations, including scheduling, training, employee relations, inventory management, sales, and the customer experience.
- Hold your store and team accountable to the fit-flavors Customer Experience Standard, including running scheduled audits.
- Utilize and navigate Shopify (POS), Yotpo, and other systems that support sales, inventory, and operations of your store location - Oversee all store maintenance requirements, including the cooler, reach-in, internet, plumber, etc.
, and ensure the store is clean and well-maintained in accordance with the company’s standard.
- Monitor trends and changes in the store fronts, and collaborate with upper management to identify areas for improvement to drive sales growth.
- Maintain an accurate account of all money and financial transactions.
- Manage all ordering and inventory sheets for your store location.
Team Development & Management - Manage, train, and develop all team members at your store location in collaboration with the Customer Experience Manager - Foster employee engagement and culture through strong leadership, excitement, enthusiasm, a positive attitude toward company objectives, and personal alignment with fit-flavors core values (lead by example).
- Develop a solid working relationship with the fit-flavors recruiting team to communicate staffing needs.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and ongoing training, including attending monthly Customer Experience Team Trainings, Customer Experience - Team Zoom Updates, and quarterly Company Town Halls.
- Facilitate and document annual and mid-year performance reviews.
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary action as needed.
Scheduling - Create and execute store schedules, including new hire training schedules, shift trade requests, and time off requests.
