Job Overview:
Overall, the Inventory Cycle Counter role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the supply chain operations
Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
Utilize inventory management systems and tools to accurately record inventory levels and adjustments.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Monitor inventory movements, ensuring accurate receiving, picking, and shipping processes.
Maintain organized and efficient storage of inventory items within the warehouse.
Generate reports on inventory accuracy, variances, and trends for management review.
Participate in inventory audits and reconciliation efforts to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
Continuously seek opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
Material Handling:
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves to count
Counts, weighs and records number of units of material moved or handled
Lift objects by hand, with pallet jacks or forklift.
Cleans forklift and sees that forklift is charged.

Understands plant labeling requirements and sees that all chemicals are properly labeled and managed.
Recommends measures to improve material handling process and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Process Management, Standardization and support of the Quality Management System:
Plan, develop, implement, and report on clear and standardized processes and procedures for all aspects of product and process including but not limited to standard operating procedures and functional process control.
Serve as the lead to document customer complaints and NCAP’s.
Provide feedback to customers on actions taken to resolve quality non-conformances.
Periodically solicit feedback on Stellar performance.
Requires close collaboration with management, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance.
Internal Coordination:
Collaborates with other departments to identify critical success factors, develop measurement systems, and implement continuous process improvement methodologies.
Assist with the creation of departmental standard operating procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years prior experience in manufacturing environment
1-3 years prior experience in inventory
Standing and seated forklift operator- required
High school diploma or equivalent
