Highland Healthcare Center is looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join our team!
The Admissions Coordinator facilitates the conversion of referrals to admissions through the completion of the intake process and the use of effective marketing and customer service skills.
This position, under the direction of the Facility Administrator, will coordinate the admissions, communications/public relations, and maintain close relationships with families and referral sources.
It is the duty of the Admissions Coordinator to manage the facility inquiry process & admission process and provides customers with facility related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations and follow-up.
Who You Are Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills Ability to establish effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in a metric driven sales setting and a passion to help others.
Duties Answer and respond immediately to inquiries concerning potential admissions.
Provides support and assistance to the resident and family during the admission process.
Assist with facility marketing initiatives.
Create relationships with referral sources.
Performs admission assessments for all prospective clients.
Welcomes new residents and provides new resident and family orientation.
Hold facility tours.
Welcome patient and family to the facility- Answer questions and introductions to staff and facility Ensure Nursing staff are alerted to new admissions coming Communicates census, budgeted numbers, etc.
, during morning meetings Assist with w/follow-up calls on patients who are discharged to home.
