Position Summary As the Director of Account Management, you will be a critical member of our St.
Louis team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing customer relationships within the transportation industry, with the ability to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The Director of Account Management will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase customer retention, ensuring that strong relationships are maintained.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of customer service, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and co-workers.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact and lead a dynamic team of Account Executives, this is the role for you! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: • Directly supervise a team of Account Executives within the St.
Louis Full Truckload department • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; and addressing complaints and resolving problems • Develop and manage customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention • Establish customer service standards, policies, and procedures • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement • Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends and insights • Manage customer accounts, including pricing, contracts, and billing • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer loyalty • Develop and oversee processes for client onboarding and customer support • Monitor customer service performance metrics to identify areas of improvement • Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders • Guide and provide input on customer service, sales, and upsell initiatives • Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention • Create customer service and sales reports for senior management • Work with marketing to identify and implement customer service and sales campaigns and promotions Minimum Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • 7+ years of experience in transportation brokerage account management or sales • Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development • In-depth knowledge of operational systems, processes, and best practices Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
