Utility Associate - 3rd Shift (11:00pm - 7:00am)

*Job description* *Summary: *Responsible for all activities associated with running designated machine including: setup, operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations for 3rd (7:00am-3:00pm).
Sunday - Thursday Night *Key Areas of Responsibilities:* * Adhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations.
* Sets up and runs the pre-feeder, feeding corrugate sheets through the machine.
* Review job tickets, print cards, and quality inspection paperwork with Machine Operator.
* Reads job order and mounts specified print plates or dies.
* Fills dye fonts with prescribed inks or dyes.
* Makes necessary machine adjustments to allow for proper print and die cutting.
* Monitors box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, damage and print.
* Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at the available capacity and speed.
Cross trains and assist Helpers, Stackers and Bundlers with job duties on the machine.
* Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including, but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality/Waste Data.
Communicate with Supervision when Maintenance Work Orders are needed for repairs.
* Adherence to company policies including attendance.
* Other duties may be assigned as needed.
*Competencies:* * Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
* Ability to correctly measure and read a tape measure.
* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of RPM and PDE Manufacturing software.
Must be computer literate.
*Required Education and/or Experience:* * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, printing or similar industry experience preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
